Biography
Luiza Vienel (b. 1999) is brazilian director and screenwriter, bachelor's degree in Cinema and Audiovisual from Universuty of the South of Santa Catarina. She worked as a producer on the film “SANGUINEOUS” (2019), selected at Florianópolis Audiovisual Mercosul and at Mostra Sesc de Cinema, in addition to several other festivals. Directed the short film “stupid idea” (2021) selected for national and international exhibitions, including an exhibition of the Festival Cabíria, the 1st FestCômico and the Children's Film Festival in Florianópolis. Worked as art director on the film “Fermento” (2019), selected for the São Paulo International Short Film Festival. She also participated as art director in the film “Amanhã estaremos em casa” (2019), awarded as the best fiction short film at the Festival Assimetria and selected at Mostra Sesc de Cinema.
