A space for education and entertainment for the public of the future. Two workshops for children (aged 5 – 11) so that, through play, they can develop a love for the cinema from when they are very young.

 

Registration form and reservations

The workshops are included in the Full Festival pass: for each pass → registration in the workshops for 2 children.
Without a pass, access to the single workshop is possible after the compulsory donation of €5 per child.

LET’S MAKE A FILM!

Saturday 5 October- Stecca3- from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Sunday 6 October viewing of the short film


A workshop for children aged between 5 and 10. In this workshop the starting point will be a written text to arrive at a small audio-visual product imagined and interpreted by the participants. Under the guidance of a filmmaker, the children will propose ideas and act in this project which could be their first ever experience in the world of the cinema. The perspective is playful and interactive and it will be the solutions of the children that guide the story.

The result will be visible to the participants and their parents on Sunday 6 at 4.00 p.m.

Andrea Sestu  
(1990) He is a filmmaker who graduated with full marks in Cinema and Filmmaking from the  Scuola Mohole, in 2016 he started to direct short films, winning the Pietrasanta Film Festival. Since 2019, he has collaborated with the Scuola Mohole, where, as well as holding courses, he deals with the collaboration with the Festival of African, Asian and Latin American Cinema. Since 2023, he has collaborated with Cineteca Milano to hold summer campuses for children and for the 2024 edition of CinemaSarà, a forum for secondary school pupils.

LET’S BUILD THE CINEMA!

On Sunday 6 October – at the carpentry shop BRIChECO of Stecca3
● 2:30 p.m.- 4.00 p.m. - 5-7 years old, accompanied by a parent (max 10)
● 4.30 p.m. 6.00 p.m.  8-11 years old, on their own  (max 8)

A creative workshop in which the children are left free to create various objects. During the workshop, inspired by the best known characters of animated films, the children will have the opportunity to design and make an object, a game, a setting… everything that is suggested by their imagination, using natural materials, mainly wood, but also paper, fabric or bamboo.

Lidia Pezzoli
She has been a carpenter since 2012 at the social carpentry  BRIChECO, where she also organizes training courses for adults and children. She also collaborates with many other Associations, especially committed to supporting frailties, who appreciate her approach to working with her hands.
