In a sadly not so distant future, humanity is trying to rescue our climate with the help of Geo-Engineering. As a result, you can find giant machines spread around the world. Stuck in never-ending loops, they are fighting the symptoms of climate-change by refreezing polar-ice, plugging cloud covers and pushing back deserts.

Biography
Yannick Stark was born in 1994 in Ludwigsburg. After his Abitur he completed six months of internship respectively at “Studio Film Bilder” and “M.A.R.K.13”. After his internship at “M.A.R.K.13” he stayed there as a “Digital Artist” until October 2017. Since then he studies at Kunsthochschule Kassel and is part of the “Animation Class”.

Director's notes
Being privileged enough to study visual communication and animation I feel like I want to give something back to society. For me the best way of doing it is trying to create attention for subjects, that everybody should know about. The climate crisis is one of the biggest Problems were facing in the moment and so that's where I played focus on for the Geo-Engineering series.
