MAX3MIN is a short film festival where the films are so short they last no longer than 3 minutes.
The festival is born out of the sole intent of telling stories.
Film stories condensed in a minimum time, stories about the time that runs fast, stories of feelings that do not need time.
Stories you can watch again, as you listen to a song again.
Stories that want to propose anything but themselves.
Born in the virtual world, the second edition of MAX3MIN will take place from 11 to 22 March 2022 and you can attend the festival by logging onto this platform. There is only one international call for entries: with no division into categories, we look for short films of every genre and language, shot in any format and at any time but produced since January 1st, 2019. Duration is the only limit: up to 3 minutes, excluding titles.
100 short films will be selected by our committee members and will be screened during the 10 days on-line festival.
MAX3MIN JURY AWARD: the international jury will choose the best 10 short films and will award the winner with 3.000€ cash prize.
MAX3MIN NEXT GEN AWARD: a new award dedicated to cinema, media arts & design and multimedia arts students from across the globe. A selected jury (to be announced) will award the winner with a technical prize.
MAX3MIN AUDIENCE AWARD: the audience too will be asked to express their preferences on-line and to proclaim the 3 winners.
Award ceremony: March 22, 2022.
