Horse Girl plays with the cliché of the horse girl and tries to turn it on its head in a sensitive and humorous way. The short film, shot in 16mm colour film, shows a young actress first approaching and then embodying an animal she loves very much, the horse. (production note)

(b. 1997) Attended the independent film and the artistic photography class at the Friedl Kubelka School and studies video and video installation at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. In her artistic work, she explores ideas around female identity and reflects on how notions of femininity emerge in a post-feminist media culture.
