Synopsys
It's Easter, the believers sanctify the festivity and turbines swirl on the earth. A young man wakes up on the couch after lunch. Sterile gauze and a rigid brace bear witness to a knee surgery. With the help of crutches, he ventures into the unripe wheat fields. He didn't remember having so many towers above him.

Biography
Director and screenwriter, Stefano Cau ( b. 1991) grew up in a rural village in Sardinia. Graduated from the Holden Academy in Turin, he directed the musical film ""Badabò"", presented in Bellaria Film Festival in 2022, and the short films ""Issa"" and ""Creaturas"". He lives in Sardinia, where he collaborates on film projects while pursuing his own artistic research. Committed to youth education, for years now, he has been teaching film to children in elementary and middle schools, in collaboration with local organizations. Sometimes he reads Camus.

Director's notes
This year, I spent Easter making a short film with my family. Overlaying some personal conceptions into reality, I imagined a black-and-white world, comically divided between the ritual traditions of the past and the acceleration of progress. An acceleration so uncontrollable that it becomes bleeding. The film also documents the transformations of the territory where I was born and raised, in the heart of Sardinia, attempting to reconstruct a subjective, tender, melancholic, and suspended perception of it.
