We were a team of graduating animation students from Nanyang Polytechnic. This short film was made for our Final Year Project.

Director's notes
Our short film started as a story about how our local food dish brought loved ones and friends together, with the usual rebellious son turning over a new leaf story. We realized, however, that we needed to take advantage of animation and do things that cannot be filmed. There is also a theme of tradition versus technology in the story where a robot learns how to make chicken rice. Love and embrace can be misunderstood, but taking steps to understand is the beginning of feeling the love.
