Biography
Madina Tazhbagambetova (b. 2005) is an animation director and artist based in Kazakhstan, with over 2 years of work experience in the industry. Her work is characterised by vibrant colors and dynamic composition, while also being filled with cultural code of Kazakhstan. The projects that she participated in include “Kunsikter”, “Seriktes” and many more animations that were screened and awarded at international festivals.

In Kazakh, “Birge” means “together” and “oneness”. Birge, we made a film that reflects on the themes of love, sincerity and self-love. While many think that they can find peace in a romantic partner, finding peace with yourself can truly pave the way to see love in the surrounding world.
In this film, each member of the team told their own story about learning to love in a new way.
