Biography
Born in Hamburg in 1998 and grew up in Lübeck. Studied Intermedia at the University of Cologne. Trained as a radio journalist at Koelncampus, employed by WDR Cosmo. Always fascinated by documentary film. Internship at the documentary film production company Fruitmarket. Experience as assistant director on ifs graduation films. Founded the collective "Ministerium für Bewegtbild" with friends. Since 2021 studying directing at the International Film School Cologne.

Director's notes
My film "Better than home" is a documentary exploration of the topic of women's shelters. With the help of Maximilian Käppler and Muriel Wolf, I turned it into a documentary animated hybrid to protect the anonymity of this place and still give a small but subtle insight.
