Biography
Andie Man (b. 2002) is currently in her final year of pursuing a BFA in Film and Television Production at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Drawn by the visual language, she enjoys experimenting with the frame both in lighting design on set and in visual effects and animation in post production. Hong Kong has been her home for almost her whole life, but she has also lived in the UK and is now based in NYC.

Director's notes
Autopilot started out as a university documentary class assignment, but turned out to be much more than I could have ever imagined. What my community and I experienced in Hong Kong, the place that I grew up in, is something that I had always tried to keep in the back of my mind. Writing and animating this piece forced me to confront it, and it consoled me. My hope is that Autopilot will do the same for any audience who is trying to come to terms with their connection with home.
