Biography
Bruno was born in Santos (Brazil) on July 17, 1983, where he lived until he was 18 years old. Since then he has lived in São Paulo, Manaus and Brasília. Bruno is a screenwriter, poet and audiovisual director. He also works with teaching and research in Film, Television and Literature. Master's degree from Prolam-USP (2013), studying social documentary in Brazil and Argentina, he has a Bachelor's and Degree in Philosophy from the University of São Paulo (2008). He scripted and directed several works, highlighting the documentary series "Nova Amazônia" (TV Brasil); "Índio Presente" (Canal Futura) and "Rastro dos bichos" (TV Brasil); and the short films "Mezanino" (2019), "Goodbye, dear Mandi" (2021) and "Smoke and Diamond" (2023). In literature, Bruno published the poetry books "Bailéu Dub" (Editora Valer, 2015); "O azul dos seres subterrâneos" (Editora Patuá, 2018); e "Animal que encolhe" (Editora Patuá, 2021). He was a guest professor in the subjects of Screenplay and also Film History at the Audiovisual Graduation Course at the Amazonas State University, and developed and/or taught workshops and courses in Audiovisual, especially for young people. Currently, Bruno works as a screenwriter at the Creative Center of Rizoma Audiovisual, in Manaus (Brazil); and is a partner at Rizoma Audiovisual. In 2014, won a Literary Creation Scholarship at Brazilian National Library; and, since 2018, lives in Brasília.
